The main tent offers an extra 85 square feet of space, creating a spacious living area. However, the setup process can be a bit tricky, especially when assembling the rainfly and garage in moderate wind conditions.
The locking mechanism requires some effort to secure, and due to the tent’s height and length, using guylines is necessary to prevent it from being blown away. Despite these challenges, once set up, the tent is large, comfortable, and able to withstand strong winds and rainy nights in Joshua Tree without any issues.

It is easy to clean and durable enough to withstand the wear and tear of children and pets. Additionally, this tent features a fantastic mesh roof, effective vents, storage pockets, an electrical port, and fun string lighting that hangs from the ceiling.
Despite its impressive size and features, the Skydome is bulky and challenging to set up. Its large footprint can make it somewhat unstable, requiring a substantial number of stakes and guylines to secure it, especially in windy conditions.
